Terms of Service
1. Who can use beermap
You must be of legal drinking age in the country where you use beermap (18 or older in Belgium) and able to enter a binding agreement. By creating an account or continuing to use the app, you accept these terms.
2. Drink responsibly
beermap is a logging and social tool. It does not encourage excessive drinking. Chug status, nominations and drinking games are optional entertainment. Never drink and drive. Never pressure anyone to drink.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Do not choose a username that impersonates others or contains unlawful or offensive content.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of pins, photos, videos, comments and ratings you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display and transmit that content to the audience you choose (public, friends or private) so the service works. Pins marked public, including their location, can be seen by every user.
Do not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, infringes others’ rights, or shows people without their consent. Do not post another person’s home or private location.
5. Acceptable use
- No scraping, spamming, API abuse, or attempts to break or overload the service.
- No fake accounts or like manipulation.
- No use of the service to promote alcohol to minors.
6. Moderation and termination
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms. You may stop using beermap and ask for deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that map, ABV or beer data is accurate. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or consumer rights you hold under mandatory law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
9. Law and contact
